If You Liked the Haven Carbon Wheels, You’ll Love the Haven Components Group

demands of All Mountain riding.
(Scotts Valley, CA, April 13th, 2010) Building on the momentum from its recent announcement of the Haven Carbon wheelset, Easton announces its next engineering masterpiece: the Haven components group. Consisting of wheels, bars, stems and posts, the group features both carbon and aluminum components designed from the ground-up, exclusively for the demands of today’s All Mountain riders.
Easton’s goal with every component in the Haven group was to create tough and durable products that could stand up to the demands of All Mountain riding, but that weighed the same or less than most crosscountry oriented products on the market. Sure to be one of the stars of the group, the Haven Carbon Riser Bar whispers to the scales at just170 grams, yet provides downhill-worthy strength and amazing durability. Thanks to Easton’s Armored Ballistic Composite (ABC), the Haven Carbon Seat Post hits the
scales at just 240 grams, and the Haven Stem weighs 153 grams for the 85 millimeter version.
“After the reception we received with the Haven Carbon wheelset, we believe that Haven is a name that Trail and All Mountain riders should get used to hearing,” says Adam Marriott, product manager for Easton Cycling. “We plan to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible in terms of components that provide maximum durability while shaving grams.”
The Haven components group, like the Haven Carbon wheel, is a product of EAMS–the Easton Advanced Materials System. EAMS is an industry-leading research, development and fabrication program that allows Easton to create and bring innovative products to market at lightning speed. All new Haven components will be available in fall 2010. Specifications and pricing are shown in the
attached document.
To see and hear about the entire Haven group, book an appointment with Mark Riedy (mark@trueoverdrive.com) at the Sea Otter Classic, from April 15th to the 18th.
